Eagles' Laws Signs Four Year Deal

The Eagles on Monday signed the last of their ten draft picks, agreeing to terms with rookie defensive tackle Trevor Laws. The news came one day after fellow rookie DeSean Jackson signed a four year deal.

Laws, a 6'1 304-pounder out of Notre Dame, will most likely play behind Brodrick Bunkley and Michael Patterson at defensive tackle. He may see more extensive starting time next year.

Laws registered a career-high 112 tackles and 4.0 sacks last year. He led all defensive linemen nationally in tackles.

Overall, Laws had 224 tackles and 10 sacks in 49 games, including 10 starts. He had 22 1/2 tackles for losses and blocked six kicks in his career.

The signing marks the second straight year in which the Eagles have signed all of their rookies before the start of training camp.
